  1. voxengo makes me bored stamping clones of own plugins with different GUIs. Useless variety of plugins instead of making ONE doing everything as you desire.

  2. Yes it's a shame it doesn't has m/s mode and that you can't switch between linear phase and minimum phase. But no it's not a "regular" eq. It's a very clean sounding one. Before I bought it myself for 36$ I demoed it and a/b'ed against Live's EQ Eight and Toneboosters FlX, which I already have, and I found out that Prime EQ did surely have a cleaner sound. the exact same settings on frequency and gain. I tried to match the less clean sounding ones (EQ8 and FlX) bw settings to sound as good and close as possible to Prime Eq. I almost made it identical with EQ8. FlX where more obvious. I did blind test them, and I always picked Prime EQ as the best sounding one to my ears. But I had to listen very carefully. It was like there where a slight bit of "resonant" sound leaking out from EQ8 and FlX Compared to Prime EQ. But this would've been the same with Pro-q 2, Equalize, Gliss EQ or something like it. They would have won as well, because they all sound similarly clean. So comparing to stuff like that, then yes you could say that PrimeEQ is a Regular eq.
