Must-stream: WAVEDASH disperse debut album, ‘World Famous Tour’

At long last, WAVEDASH have unveiled their debut album, World Famous Tour, via Gud Vibrations and Insomniac Records. The 12-track LP follows their previously released singles “Dummo Loop,” “Stallions,” “By Any Means,” and “Lemon Nades,” and features vocal and production talent such as fknsyd, Noon, and Wylie Hopkins.
The Texas-based trio first obtained musical success in 2016 with their debut single “Bang,” released on Skrillex‘s landmark OWLSA Worldwide Broadcast label compilation. Since then, NGHTMRE, SLANDER, Madeon, RL Grime, Mat Zo, and their mentor, Porter Robinson, have held the group in high regard, expressing their support.
World Famous Tour is the crowning achievement of the trio’s carefully crafted productions brought forth in unparalleled fashion. The LP potently experiments with the future bass, pop, trap, ambient, drum’n’ bass, and dubstep genres while implementing a sample-based approach, sampling singers Eartha Kitt, Hundred Waters, and more.
