Montreal-based veteran Tiga not too long ago penciled himself in alongside an inventory of fellow world-class producers, marked by his ominous recasting of the Lime favourite, “Angel Eyes.” So far, in celebration of the its fortieth anniversary, Unidisc Music has handpicked Tiga, Claptone, Jacques Greene, Alan Fitzpatrick, and Carl Cox to reimagine a few of the label’s traditional IDs.

The Canadian imprint’s slew of celebratory remixes started with Claptone’s transforming of Trans-X’s “Dwelling On Video.” Now, Tiga’s “Angel Eyes” remix arrives on the heels of Greene’s tackle Lime’s “Babe We’re Gonna Love Tonight,” Fitzpatrick’s club-ready spin on Shannon’s “Let The Music Play,” and Cox’s infectious remix of Geraldine Hunt’s “Can’t Faux The Feeling.” What’s extra, Unidisc plans to maintain its anniversary challenge with future releases, together with an upcoming contribution from Purple Disco Machine.

Tiga took it upon himself to flip Lime’s “Angel Eyes” the other way up, using a menacing home development in change for the jovial overtones heard within the unique. The JUNO Award-winning producer’s third launch of the calendar 12 months, “Angel Eyes (Tiga Remix)” is now streaming in all places.
