Don Broco announce warm-up gigs forward of Slam Dunk Pageant

Don Broco have introduced they’ll be doing a brief run of warm-up gigs forward of their headline performances at this yr’s Slam Dunk Pageant.

The Bedford band, who not too long ago introduced the discharge of their their fourth studio album, ‘Superb Issues’, will play Oxford’s O2 Academy, Bristol’s O2 Academy, and Bournemouth’s O2 Academy this coming August and September.

The gigs will happen after an already sold-out hometown present at Bedford’s Esquires on August 24, and forward of their headline UK tour and prime billing at Slam Dunk Pageant.

The North version of the competition, held at Temple Newsam in Leeds will happen on September 4, whereas Slam Dunk South in Hatfield Park, Hertfordshire will happen on September 5.

Previewing ‘Superb Issues’ again in Could, Don Broco shared ‘Manchester Tremendous Reds No.1 Fan’, which the band wrote with the intention of “delivering these very deliberate, jolting shifts like we’ve by no means executed earlier than”.

Earlier this month, the band shared their second single, ‘Gumshield’, which the band rolled out with a marketing campaign suggesting frontman Rob Damiani was combating British boxer Dave Allen – however it was only a prank.
