GRiZ unveils first solo outing since 2021’s ‘Rainbow Mind’ LP, ‘Really feel No Ache’

Sizzling off the heels of his Electrical Forest headline set in June, bass figurehead and saxophonist extraordinaire, GRiZ, has given followers much more to get enthusiastic about together with his newest supply, “Really feel No Ache.” Unleashing his distinctive mix of funk and dub, the Michigan-native samples the long-lasting line, “one benefit of music, when it hits you are feeling no ache,” initially from Bob Marley‘s “Trenchtown Rock,” and most famously interpolated on Lifeless Prez’ 2000 hit, “Hip Hop,” making for one more groovy, euphoric output. Talking on his new observe with an admirable levity, GRiZ tells followers,
“It’s a summertime dubby banger with some enjoyable funky sax and a line from considered one of my favourite hip-hop songs of all time, initially sampled by Bob Marley.
