Gordo (pka Carnage) catching warmth for enjoying over the units of two closing DJs
So long as DJs have been DJing, set occasions have (typically) been a factor. You might have a predetermined time to play your set, you play out your last tune, and the following DJ goes on. Cue Gordo, pka Carnage, who headlined Ministry of Sound this previous Saturday. After his headline set, or reasonably, after he was scheduled to finish, he apparently continued enjoying, slicing the closing units of Waze and Essel who have been scheduled to play after him.
Headline DJ refused to return off final night time and the two acts after him (me and one other DJ) misplaced our units. I’m over a decade of enjoying I’ve actually by no means seen this degree of entitlement or vanity and I’ve DJed with manner larger (and higher) artists.
