Iconic producer Rick Rubin has revealed that he’s engaged on a brand new album with The Strokes, having just lately accomplished a recording session with them in Costa Rica.

Rubin and The Stokes first joined forces in 2017, once they started engaged on ‘The New Irregular’. The album was launched in April of 2020 as their sixth full-length effort, supported by singles like ‘At The Door’, ‘Dangerous Selections’, ‘Brooklyn Bridge To Refrain’ and ‘The Adults Are Speaking’.

In a four-star assessment of ‘The New Irregular’, NME’s Ella Kemp wrote: “There’s a lot to reward on the file, regardless that the listener has been licensed as a second thought. Like its cowl, the Jean-Michel Basquiat art work ‘Fowl On Cash’, it’s spiky however fairly gorgeous.
