The Avalanches announce virtual concert to mark release of forthcoming LP – Dancing Astronaut

With their highly-anticipated album’s release date rapidly approaching, legendary samplers The Avalanches have announced a live stream performance to celebrate the new record. Delivered from a Melbourne rooftop, the DJ set will be available to stream December 19 at 8 p.m. PT/11 p.m. ET. The set will be streamed twice more in accordance with London and Melbourne time zones.
After the set, The Avalanches’ Jonathan Zawada‘s film Carrier Waves will be screened as well. The film is a companion piece to the group’s upcoming record, We Will Always Love You, and will feature music from the forthcoming album, which arrives December 11.
