Ekko & Sidetrack are no strangers to releasing on UK drum ‘n’ bass imprint Viper Recordings. And they’re now turning to their long-time sonic counterpart for the delivery of the lead single off their upcoming debut album. “The Light” sees the duo reunite once more with the Bristolian-songstress Ruth Royall, who they previously worked with on the fan-favorite cut, “Paper Birds”.
“The Light” is yet another example of the illustrious soundscapes and enchanting vocals made possible when these two forces team up. It’s an uplifting ballad with an energetic drop that makes it fit for both the festival circuit and everyday listening consumption. Listen to “The Light” below.
