Afrojack, Alan Walker, More Confirmed for New Destination Festival in U.S. Virgin Islands

There’s a new destination music festival making an early-summer splash during Memorial Day Weekend.
A new Memorial Day destination for electronic music has arisen seemingly out of thin air: the U.S. Virgin Islands.
This year, the island of St. Thomas will see a myriad of dance music superstars taking the stage for a brand new destination music festival, Sol Seeker. The festival’s debut will feature Afrojack, Alan Walker, Deorro and KSHMR, with the promise of more on the way.

Sol Seeker marks an opportunity to stoke tourism in a region of the world that has been impacted not only by the pitfalls of the pandemic, but also two natural disasters.
“Sol Seeker Festival has been brought together by a variety of local businesses—to showcase everything the USVI has to offer,” the festival’s organizers said in a statement shared with EDM.com. “After years of Covid and rebuilding from the intense devastation of hurricanes Irma and Maria, we’re proud to be bringing world-class talent to paradise to showcase everything St. Thomas has to offer.”
The festival is slated to take place at the Yacht Haven Grade, one of the world’s most magnificent marinas. Sol Seeker is poised to leverage the unique characteristics of this location to provide VIP travel extras and special accommodations, such as weekend-long romps on yacht charters.
Sol Seeker is scheduled for May 26-28, 2023. You can find out more here.
