Enter Sigrid Rosier's Mesmerising Techno World With Debut Album, "Trinity"
A gifted electronic music producer with a unique story to tell, the elusive Sigrid Rosier has pulled back the curtain on her debut album.
Titled Trinity, the project finds Rosier fusing Gregorian chant with ambient production and heavy-hitting techno beats, curating a mesmerizing experience that disrupts and pushes the boundaries of the genre.
Out independently, Trinity is as cinematic as it is thumping. “Archons,” the album’s stunning intro, perfectly introduces Rosier’s mythological storytelling. Driven by ethereal vocal harmonies and eerie soundscapes, the eerie opener kicks things off beautifully before the intensity builds.
“Inferno” is filled with bright synths wrapped in a driving, downtempo beat while “Tower of Babylon” finds Rosier diving into the world of acid techno. “Gidora” (with TRSTN) makes for one of the project’s standout tracks with its heavenly vocals and explosive climaxes, which resemble the epic soundtrack of a Hollywood tentpole.
Meanwhile, Rosier incorporates breakbeats into a sonic bed of soft ambiances in “Titan” before shifting gears with “ALT Shift,” a stripped-back cut and one of the most vocal-heavy on the project. That song smoothly transitions into “Rapture,” which ends Trinity on a larger-than-life note.
