UNTOLD Festival is less than a month out, with hundreds of thousands of fans looking to reunite for one of Europe’s strongest, all-encompassing dance music experiences. The famed festival is back bigger than ever this year and recently revealed the creative concept for its 2023 edition: The Light Phoenix.

Returning to Romania’s stunning Cluj-Napoca from August 3-6, UNTOLD boasts a jaw-dropping lineup, which includes a slew of EDM’s most celebrated acts. Headliners include Alok, KSHMR, Alesso, Martin Garrix, Eric Prydz, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren and more, as well as contemporary music superstars Ava Max and Bebe Rexha, chart-topping band Imagine Dragons, British pop star Years & Years and U.S. rapper Ferg.

UNTOLD Festival

Whether you’re an UNTOLD regular or are gearing up to indulge in the extravagant festival for the first time, it’s important to budget ahead of time and in order to make the most out of your festival experience. Here’s your definitive guide for all the costs associated with UNTOLD’s 8th edition, from tickets and accommodation to drinks and the various other experiences the festival has to offer.

Tickets

Tickets for UNTOLD start at €199 for the General Access Basic four-day pass, while the four-day VIP pass is available for €500. General access day tickets start from €99 while VIP day tickets at €175. 

Special friendship packs can also be purchased by groups of four, five and six people, available at €600, €750 and €810 respectively. Finally, UNTOLD fans under 21, who are also very welcome at the festival, can purchase their general access tickets at the discounted rate of €129.

Food & Beverages

UNTOLD 2023 will feature more than 50 food vendors that will satisfy a wide variety of tastes and cover Romanian, Asian, Mexican, Greek, Serbian, Italian, vegan, vegetarian and more cuisines. Food prices will range from approximately €7 to €16.

A wide selection of drinks will also be available all throughout the festival grounds, offering everything from beer, wine, gin, rum and whiskey to alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Drinks prices will range from approximately €3 for a water bottle to €15 for cocktails.

Accommodation

UNTOLD offers a wide range of accommodation options for all tastes and budgets. Prices for the festival’s official campus start at €180 for four nights per person. For those seeking more luxurious accommodations, a three-star hotel with access to the sauna, gym, and indoor pool offers packages starting from €650 euros for four nights per person. Alternatively, a pair of four-star hotels are available, offering a premium experience starting from €550 and €600 respectively for four nights per person.

Attendees can also opt for the exclusive Radisson Hotel, the Themed Hotel of the UNTOLD Festival, which offers a unique festival experience with mainstage views, access to private parties, and other exciting perks. Additionally, attendees have the option to explore alternative lodging options through platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com.

Designers’ Nest

The festival features a dedicated area showcasing the creations of over 20 Romanian designers, including clothes, special collections, shoes, bags and accessories, with prices ranging from €5 to €100 EUR. Attendees can also benefit from the expertise of professional makeup artists and hair stylists to curate their best festival outfit and look.

Flights

Flight prices can be unpredictable and vary depending on a multitude of factors. Cluj-Napoca does have an airport, so a direct flight might be available depending on your city of residence. Alternatively, you can fly to Bucharest and then take a connecting flight to Cluj-Napoca, or a seven-hour train ride. Train prices cost approximately €30 for a 1st class ticket and €20 for a 2nd class ticket.
