Kiasmos have announned their first dwell reveals in 5 years within the UK and Europe subsequent 12 months.

The Icelandic duo might be hitting the street for 3 dates together with a present at London’s Outernet on Could 29.

Additional reveals might be staged at Huxleys in Berlin on Could 31 and the Opia Competition in Utrecht within the Netherlands on June 2.

Tickets for the London present go on sale tomorrow at 10am GMT and might be bought here.

In an announcement posted on their social media channels, asserting the forthcoming reveals, they wrote: “Kiasmos return to the dwell stage for the primary time in over 5 years. Headline performances introduced for London and Berlin on Could 29/31, and a headline slot at OPIA Competition in Utrecht on June 2, 2024.”

The final time Kiasmos carried out dwell in London was when Icelandic composer, multi-instrumentalist, and band member Ólafur Arnalds did a one-night takeover of London’s Southbank Centre in 2019, alongside Rhye, Grandbrothers, Poppy Ackroyd, Josin, Hania Rani, Hӧgni & Ensemble, and Vaal.

The band shaped in 2007 and launched their self-titled debut LP in 2014 on Erased Tapes Data.

They launched 4 EPs together with 2012’s ‘Thrown’, ‘Looped’ and ‘Swept’ in 2015 and ‘Blurred’ two years later.

Reviewing the only ‘Burnt’ from their 2014 debut, NME wrote: “Stuffed with melancholy-frosted electronics and emotive swells of classical piano, the brand new single from Nordic duo Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen is a fragile, icy slowburn – very similar to the venture itself.

‘Burnt’ proves good issues come to those that wait, although – a brute, stunning Jon Hopkins-ish classical-electronic crossover that seems like a rave-up within the lonely burrows of a misty glacier.”
