Sunny Day Actual Property tease first new music in 10 years

Sunny Day Actual Property have teased their first new music in 10 years on their social media.

The emo legends, who introduced their reunion in 2022, posted a minute-long snippet of a music on their Instagram. The music, which at the moment doesn’t have a title, soundtracks a video of an artist drawing the phrase “novum vetus” (Latin for “every part previous is new once more”), then sketching out a ship at sea.

Listeners may also hear frontman Jeremy Enigk singing the next verse: “The day we died inside, the world was struggling / 10,000 phrases collide however nobody mentioned a factor / the day we died contained in the partitions come tumbling down.”

If the band are planning to tease an LP, it will likely be Sunny Day Actual Property’s first new document since their 2000 album ‘The Rising Tide’. The Seattle band are greatest identified for his or her 1994 document ‘Diary’, thought to be a seminal launch within the second wave of emo.
