The Disco Biscuits launch ninth studio album ‘Revolution in Movement’ – Dancing Astronaut

The Disco Biscuits unveil their ninth studio album, “Revolution in Movement,” an bold area opera spanning 14 tracks. Produced by Derek VanScoten, often called Cloudchord, and visually complemented by 3D animated movies created by Blunt Motion, the mission has been launched in 4 elements on the band’s YouTube channel.
“Revolution in Movement” follows an intriguing story of aliens who arrive in New York Metropolis with a plan to freeze and abduct people for analysis to profit their very own planet. Unphased by the extraterrestrial guests, The Disco Biscuits emerge as unlikely heroes, embarking on a mission to save lots of humanity. The story progresses because the band follows these misfit aliens again to their world, confronting the alien queen with the unifying energy of music, proposing it as an answer to quell dissent amongst her topics.
Every monitor on the album has been honed and refined over two years of stay performances, turning into staples of the band’s reveals and platforms for intensive improvisational play. The idea for this distinctive opera was developed by guitarist and lead vocalist Jon Barber along with his good friend Joey Friedman in August 2021. Describing their new music as “music aliens would love.”
