Blur set for O2 Silver Clef Award honour in July

Blur are set to obtain the O2 Silver Clef Award on the annual charity gala ceremony this 12 months.

Per Music News, the Britpop legends will probably be honoured on July 5 with the occasion’s largest prize, alongside the opposite newly-announced prize winners of the evening in AC/DC, Chaka Khan, Loyle Carner, Mark Knopfler, Younger Fathers and Jacob Collier.

With this award, Blur joins a league of previous awardees that features David Bowie, Oasis, Paul McCartney and Kylie Minogue.
