Afrojack calls for an Ally Brooke encore on ‘What Are We Waiting For?’

Afrojack has plotted a return to pop with his latest Ally Brooke collaboration, “What Are We Waiting For?” Brooke, who was previously a member of Fifth Harmony, has collaborated with the Dutch producer before and is specifically memorable for her work on “All Night,” released in February.
As with “All Night,” “What Are We Waiting For?” too leads with Brooke’s vocals, but notably seeps her sung contributions in funk, striking a hearty groove that takes Afrojack’s style in a new direction. The single is a feel good release that attests to Afrojack’s multi-faceted production capabilities while taking aim at Top 40 radio airwaves .
