Azzecca acidifies TIBASKO’s ‘Still Rushing’ on Another Rhythm
For the first time since joining Dancing Astronaut’s class of Artists to Watch in 2023, Chicago-bred Azzecca has cemented her 2023 debut. The offering lands as an official remix of melodic trance duo TIBASKO‘s 2022 single, “Still Rushing.” Now streaming everywhere via London-based indie label Another Rhythm, Azzecca’s “Still Rushing” rework arrives an acidic, sonically-daunting rendition of the tempo-shifting, perhaps more light-hearted original record.
In December, Azzecca hinted at the new release in an exclusive Dancing Astronaut interview ahead of her set at FNGRS CRSSD‘s first-ever Proper NYE. “I do have a new remix for TIBASKO,” the producer teased. “It’s a remix of their song ‘Still Rushing.’ I’ll be playing that for sure, and it’s been going off [at shows], so I’m really excited about it.”
