Bantum turns a ‘New Leaf’ with newest EP – Dancing Astronaut

Eire native Ruairi Lynch, higher often called Bantum, completes his New Leaf EP rollout with the complete three-track parcel, which manifests as a message: sonically, he’s headed in a brand new route.
Extremely influenced by digital music fixtures corresponding to Daft Punk, 4 Tet, and Soulwax, the EP takes on an up-tempo, club-suited persona. Leaping in with the EP’s title monitor, “New Leaf,” Bantum kicks off the challenge with a layered beat and melodic synth incantation that make it not possible for listeners to sit down nonetheless. Diving into the second monitor, “Give You Up,” the producer takes followers on a funkier journey characterised by a driving beat and crisp kicks. The finale, “Stutter,” is Bantum’s most foot-tapping beat but, paired with sultry piano development.
On New Leaf, Bantum mirrored,
“I had this fixed picture in my thoughts of going again to a membership or a celebration whereas writing the document. It’s humorous that these are arguably essentially the most danceable and upbeat tracks I’ve written when there’s nowhere to go but to let unfastened! It’s been cathartic to supply this document and I can’t wait to play it reside sometime.”
