Emergent artist project sleepy benjamin is the creative outlet of Australian singer/songwriter/producer Ben Beamish, who creates contrast to his chill alias, RAINEE, with sleepy benjamin, a nascent but textured, vocal-centric undertaking that debuted with “Tunnel Vision” in February. Following a pair of follow-up singles, “Spiraling” with DSML and “Absurd” with Devincy, sleepy benjamin is re-entering the release ring, this time with “Unwell” in tow.
With rugged production and a memorable hook sure to nestle into listeners minds and play there seemingly on loop, “Unwell” is a piercing effort that won’t soon be forgotten after the last second of runtime has ticked down.
