Bensley and Justin Hawkes have joined forces for “Don’t Be Scared,” out now via UKF.
Bensley and Hawkes have established themselves as leading artists of the booming stateside drum & bass scene. The new collab is a perfect fusion of both artists’ distinct approaches to drum & bass, allowing both unique styles to flourish.
Haunting synths are accompanied by a heavily tuned and chopped vocal while a rumbling beat the duo cooked up leads the way. It’s yet another crowd-pleaser, bringing both airy moments and dynamic stretches of hard-hitting drums.
Both Bensley and Hawkes have been on fire lately. The former landed on Monstercat with his gritty single “All I Wanted” in April while the former showcased his skillset on the soaring “Heartleap” on UKF.
