Burko makes mau5trap debut with Speaker Honey-assisted EP, ‘Dance In Time’
Since dispatching his Different EP alongside Irish-Spanish producer Sian in mid-February, Burko is padding the reasoning behind his Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2023 placement. And in doing so, he cements a follow-up twofer, Dance In Time, this time featuring Speaker Honey. Burko’s latest is both caustic and industrial; while “Dance In Time” carries listeners through a darker realm of bass flourishes, vocal samples, effects, and percussion, “Levitate”—the EP’s B-Side record—evokes a more clinching, acidic progressive house feel.
Not only does Dance In Time signify Burko’s first collaboration with Speaker Honey, it also marks the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch’s debut release on deadmau5‘s mau5trap.
