Dabin, William Black reunite for ‘Ready’ sequel with James Droll, ‘In The Cold’ – Dancing Astronaut

Seeing the names Dabin and William Black in the same title just feels like a match made in melodic bass heaven. In 2021, the two confirmed that theory on the former’s Between Broken cut with Try To Find Me. Fast forward just shy of two years into the future and the two have officially reunited for the follow up that “Ready” had deserved, taking to Kannibalen Records and adding James Droll into the mix for “In The Cold.”
And Dabin and William Black’s synergy proves to have not been a one-off in 2021. On “In The Cold”—which the two got to perform live together during SLANDER’s takeover of the Los Angeles Convention Center—the duo dial up yet another emotion-soaked, inspiriting crossover guided by Droll as they combine the finest elements of their distinctive lanes within melodic bass.
