David Guetta and Sorana Revamp “Heartless” In Kanye-Accepted Collab, “redruM” – EDM.com

Sorana and David Guetta have put a haunting new twist on a basic heartbreak anthem with their new single, “redruM.”

Marking Sorana’s debut on Atlantic Information, the synthwave-inspired monitor is “an ironic POV on how dramatically folks react” to breakups, she said. It was from the attitude of the heartbreaker’s subsequent love, and pulls its melody from Ye’s (previously referred to as Kanye West) timeless single “Heartless,” including the enduring rapper as a co-writer to its credit.

“redruM” comes paired paired with a music video impressed by cult basic horror film, The Shining, placing the cherry on prime of Sorana’s inventive imaginative and prescient. Her cotton candy-colored model drops a heartsore Sorana into an 80s-styled lodge, the place she finds herself stalked by her ex’s murderous new girlfriend. “I took his coronary heart, is that so improper? She’s performed, performed, performed,” her voice soars in its refrain. Paired with futuristic, alien-like vogue and a pop artwork portrait of Guetta, the dramatics are off the charts.
