Dua Lipa continues to remain one step ahead, sifting through one industry innovation to the next. Her career approach can be aptly wrapped up in a quick look at the UK popstar’s latest album, fittingly titled Future Nostalgia— which turned out to be a groundbreaking dance-pop album, that in itself that saw a full remix version this summer from The Blessed Madonna and a host of other collaborators.
The Club Future Nostalgia LP made a sizable impact this year, and one of the album’s standout tracks, The Blessed Madonna’s remix of “Love is Religion,” earned a spot in FIFA 21‘s electric soundtrack. The spot fueled Lipa’s relationship with the EA SPORTS gaming franchise and her latest endeavor as a playable character in their upcoming FIFA Volta update. Lipa is among a stacked roster of new celebrity players, including DJ Snake, David Beckham, and more.
In addition to her gaming appearance, Lipa recently announced a seminal virtual concert experience with “Studio 2054” and will release Future Nostalgia‘s B-sides in 2021.
