Equanimous, An-ten-nae, More to Perform at Guatamala's Sublime Solstice Festival in 2023
When the days get shorter and the nights get longer, instead of entering hibernation, why not celebrate the winter solstice surrounded by the stunning landscapes of Guatemala?
Solstice Music and Arts Festival returns to the Eagle’s Nest on Guatamala’s Lake Atitlán from December 19-21, 2023 for its third edition. This eco lodge is an astounding destination for intentional gatherings.
The open-air floor plan in the main gathering space features a stunning wooden deck—or should we say dancefloor—that overlooks the lake below, as if from a bird’s-eye view. And the lake is contained within a breathtaking volcanic crater in Guatemala’s highlands.
“Eagle’s Nest is an awe-inspiring ecological resort and world-class event venue for the transformational growth of adventure travelers, artists and digital nomads,” reads Solstice’s official website. “Our space exists to inspire our guests to ignite their inner-artist and build heart centred connections with like-minded community members while living in harmony with nature.”
This year, the lineup for Solstice Festival offers a diverse range of artists from around the world. Attendees can enjoy headlining performances from the likes of High Vibe Records’ founder Equanimous, Medicine Label boss An-ten-nae, experimental artist Fejká and a secret headliner to be announced.
The undercard features Kirtaniyas, Vijay Krsna, Uji, Saturna, Sideway and Footprints, among others. The docket has been intentionally curated to enlist artists that align with their mission to “connect through art and elevate our collective consciousness through creating immersive experiences,” according to organizers.
To ensure an intimate feel, there are only 350 passes available for Solstice Festival 2023. Tickets are available now via Eagle’s Nest Atitlán’s website. A percentage of the profits from this year’s event will benefit the Mayan Youth Education Program to support the local Mayan community.
