G Jones, Eprom reconvene for sophomore EP, ‘Acid Disk 2’ – Dancing Astronaut

G Jones and Eprom are each for experimenting with sound design, a stylistic hallmark audible on their first joint EP Acid Disk, launched in 2017. Following excessive reward from listeners on Acid Disk, G Jones and Eprom are again with a six-track follow-up, Acid Disk 2. Though the unique EP contained just one G Jones and Eprom collaboration, Acid Disk 2 holds two accomplice tracks and two solo singles from every producer.
Out now by way of Illusory Data, Acid Disk 2 attracts affect from a mess of genres together with entice, experimental-bass, acid-techno, and even trance. The primary two songs from the EP, “On My Thoughts” and “A2C2I2D,” function acid-infused synths layered over explosive entice drums. The ultimate 4 inclusions embody softer, trance-like melodies whereas nonetheless incorporating the signature sounds of G Jones and Eprom.
