Gentle Minds turns in ‘TEARDROPS,’ confirms sophomore album rollout on Overseas Household Collective

Lo-fi dance aficionado Gentle Minds, born Benjamin David, has set forth his second consecutive single in 2024 on ODESZA’s internationally acclaimed Overseas Household Collective. Coined “TEARDROPS,” the fluttery new home lower arrives recent on the heels of Gentle Minds’ summer-issued FFC providing, “IN YOUR EYES,” that includes fellow Melbourne producer edapollo. In an announcement tied to his newest supply, Gentle Minds has formally confirmed the slow-burning but surefire fruits of his sophomore studio album. Signifying the long-form sequel to MOOD, Gentle Minds’ 2020-released Overseas Household debut, the looming undertaking will come to fruition in February 2025. The GRAMMY-nominated singer and producer reveals,
“The album brings collectively sounds you’ll usually hear solely in membership genres and recontextualizes them, paired with melancholic feelings that one wouldn’t normally hear transcribed by such sounds.”

In assist of the brand new album, the “FORMATIONS” producer has revealed a slew of dates reflecting a headline North American tour. Kicking off in Washington, D.C. on February seventh, 2025, Gentle Minds’ will make subsequent stops on the Brooklyn’s Music Corridor of Williamsburg, Toronto’s Velvet Underground, Los Angeles’ El Rey and Hollywood Theatre, Lincoln Corridor in Chicago, and extra.
