Devault has teamed up with BabyJake for two-track collaborative EP, Tell Me / Blue. The production pair embarks on a nostalgic ride back in time to ’90s house music on “Blue,” a production fused with a heavily synthesized vocal that draws influence from modern day dance-pop. “Tell Me,” the EP’s concluding cut, is a synergistic courtship of Devault’s sense for dark energy and BabyJake’s heartfelt vocals, both of which create an enthralling whole.
BabyJake and Devault have both had a busy year when it comes to musical output. BabyJake has engrained himself in the dance music community thanks to a recent EP with Dillon Francis and continued collaborations with DJs and producers. Devault meanwhile has released a string of audio-visual experiences, most notably his RUBY EP. Tell Me / Blue is out now via Indigo Records.
