Herobust Returns With Pulverizing Dubstep Banger, "Crush Mode"
The Atlanta-born producer’s classic “busted” sound is as ferocious as ever in his first new track since summer 2021.
Herobust is not joking around when he says dubstep is his love language.
It’s been a while since fans have heard new music from the bass virtuoso, whose last original song, the relentless trap and hip-hop hybrid “Lose Your Shit,” hit streaming platforms in summer 2021. But he’s now returned with “Crush Mode,” a pulverizing dubstep track that is sure to get hearts racing and heads banging.
The song’s heavy bass drops, intricate rhythms and distorted samples are signatures of Herobust’s distinct—and next-level—sound design. Despite the passing of time, it’s clear he hasn’t lost his touch when it comes to producing unconventional bangers with the unique brand of visceral ferocity only he can offer.
Whether or not the Atlanta-born producer has a new long-form project on the horizon remains to be seen. But fans can find solace in the fact he said it “feels good to be back.”
