ILLENIUM Is Working On New Music With The Chainsmokers – EDM.com

The Chainsmokers and ILLENIUM have reunited.
The chart-topping music producers, who teamed up again in July 2019 for the worldwide dance hit “Takeaway,” returned to the studio and are actually engaged on new music. Each ILLENIUM and The Chainsmokers took to social media to share the information.
The Chainsmokers ended a three-year hiatus from releasing unique music final week, once they unveiled a model new monitor referred to as “Excessive.” It is the primary single off their upcoming fourth album, which ILLENIUM referred to as “refreshing and timeless” in a tweet shared yesterday.
“Simply obtained house from @TheChainsmokers home and obtained to hearken to their new music. Shits fkn fireplace af,” ILLENIUM gushed. “Extraordinarily refreshing and timeless music.”
The Chainsmokers have been busy within the studio as they put together to drop the brand new album, tentatively titled TCS4. Mum’s the phrase on whether or not or not ILLENIUM’s collaboration will seem on the document.
“It incorporates all these sounds that we have cherished from our whole lives of listening to music,” stated The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart of the duo’s forthcoming album. “And it is thrilling to press play… cultivating your creativity is among the hardest issues to do. And we landed again in that little wave and ever since then, I believe we have been extra impressed now than we’ve got up to now 4 years. And so we’re excited to indicate all people all of the stuff we’re making.”
