Inexperienced Day hit out at Donald Trump throughout New Yr’s efficiency

Inexperienced Day have taken a shot at former United States president Donald Trump throughout their efficiency at New Yr’s Rockin’ Eve.

Throughout the band’s set at Dick Clark’s New Yr’s Rockin’ Eve – hosted by Ryan Seacrest – the band’s lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong, altered the lyric “I’m not part of a redneck agenda” to develop into “I’m not part of the MAGA agenda”.
The track, initially written as a diss towards George W. Bush, now incorporates a point out of Trump’s presidential rally slogan, “Make America Nice Once more” (MAGA).

This isn’t the primary time that Inexperienced Day have taken jabs at Trump. On the American Music Awards (AMA) in 2016, the legendary punk trio led a chant of “No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA” in protest towards the then-President electoral candidate.
In August final 12 months, the band introduced a limited-time sale of a t-shirt that includes Donald Trump‘s mugshot for charity. The t-shirt, titled Final Nimrod, used Trump’s viral mugshot to recreate their iconic ‘Nimrod’ cowl, with the album’s title masking Trump’s face.
