Kaskade makes Monstercat debut alongside WILL K with ‘Flip Switch,’ from ‘Rocket League Season 2’ – Dancing Astronaut

Kaskade and Australian producer WILL K have released a dynamic new single “Flip Reset.” The outing, which marks Kaskade’s debut on Monstercat and the first one-off from an EP that he will release in full on the label, is made in partnership with award-winning video game Rocket League. “Flip Reset” is featured in-game, and will arrive with the announcement of Rocket League Season 2, which will officially go live on December 9.
In an embrace of its partnership with Monstercat, Rocket League will be introducing the game’s first-ever music-themed season, which includes “Flip Reset.” The Kaskade and WILL K collaboration will also be available as a Player Anthem in Rocket League Season 2, a new customization option that will allow players to select the music that plays in the Arena after they score a goal.
Kaskade said of the partnership,
“As a kid who grew up on a steady diet of arcades and video games, it’s only right that I finally get to team up with Monstercat and Rocket League! Being able to create music (and get my own in-game items) exclusively for this season) has stoked the kid in me that has always considered video games the ultimate threshold for cool. I hope you enjoy playing, and it’s time to put those speakers to work. Turn it up!”
“Flip Reset” adds a new dynamic to Kaskade’s roster of releases, and will be a welcome addition to the Monstercat family.
