Listen to FOMO's Down-and-Dirty Tech House Banger, "I Like That"

FOMO are back with “I Like That,” a nasty tech house track out now by way of Dr. Fresch’s House Call Records.
Driven by a swaggering, hip-hop-influenced vocal, “I Like That” oozes with the down-and-dirty élan of a signature FOMO house banger. Stentorian rave leads and acid-inspired stabs run roughshod through the drop, which has the grit and ferocity to tear up festival stages this summer.
The duo started by conceptualizing the track’s vocal, which was born out of the absurd engines of ChatGPT. Seeking inspiration, FOMO said they asked the AI-powered chatbot what Four Tet was thinking during one of his many hilarious viral photo moments, presumably after he played “Country Riddim.”
The relationship between AI and the music industry is a contentious affair, but we can all agree this is how it’s done.

“I Like That” is the latest feather in the cap of FOMO, who are experiencing a breakneck rise through house music’s ranks. They’ve graced the stages of some of North America’s biggest electronic music festivals, like EDC Vegas, and garnered high-profile support from the industry’s biggest DJs. Tchami and Oliver Heldens recently played FOMO’s track “Ouu La La” on the Ultra Mainstage.
“The vision for the song was to merge the swag of a hip-hop vocal with a rump shakin’ house rhythm so everyone could feel saucy while they’re gettin’ down on the dance floor,” FOMO said. “We feel like we accomplished our goal and hope everyone likes that cus’ we do!”
