There’s a new day on the horizon for Louis The Child as the duo’s bright immediate future comes into focus.
The Chicago-born producers have identified a fresh spin on their future-pop signature with the release of “Daybreak.” The new track incorporates their characteristically playful and punchy production, delivering dreamlike feelings of floating. Elaborating with an angelic vocal tremolo effect, Louis The Child embrace the sounds captivating the spirit of this present moment in electronic music.
The uplifting collaboration with singer-songwriter Zachary Knowles showcases his silky-smooth vocal delivery as he waxes poetic about seeking comfort in a potential partner. There’s even more in store for the dynamic duo in 2023, as they’ve just announced the return of “Alter-Ego,” a takeover of the Brooklyn Mirage where the multi-alias producers will play a set as their gritty, club-centric alias Black Marble. They’ll additionally headline with another back-to-back set as Louis The Child alongside a special guest still to be announced.
