Marvin Gaye III sued for assault and sexual battery

Marvin Gaye III, the eldest son of the Motown legend, has been accused of assault, battery and false imprisonment.

As reported by Us Weekly, a lawsuit was filed towards Gaye in Los Angeles on December 26 through which a girl referred to solely as Jane Doe claims she was referred to as to Gaye’s residence in January 2023 to mediate an argument between Gaye and his then-wife Wendy.

Courtroom paperwork state that the state of affairs “escalated right into a collection of violent and threatening acts perpetrated by [Gaye] together with bodily assault, verbal threats of loss of life and the retrieval of a firearm, which he pointed at [the alleged victim] and his spouse, whereas threatening their lives.”

Gaye has denied the allegations, saying: “No means did that occur. It’s all bullshit. I wouldn’t try this. These are false claims.”

He added that he believes he is aware of who the accuser is and claims she is “attempting to extort cash from me”.

Jane Doe additional asserts that Gaye, 59, grabbed her by her arms, shook her and stepped on her foot, earlier than pointing a gun and her and Wendy and threatening to kill them each.

The accuser describes his behaviour as “harmful”, “excessive, outrageous and past the bounds of decency”.

Gaye can also be accused of “acts of intimidation”, together with “tampering with [her] car by slicing the brakes and arranging for his associates to surveil [her] residence.”

The girl is suing for an undisclosed quantity of damages, legal professional charges and a restraining order, and claims she has suffered extreme emotional misery together with nervousness, despair, panic assaults, insomnia and weight reduction between 24 and 30 kilos.

Gaye is the adopted son of Marvin Gaye and his first spouse Anna Gordy, whereas his organic mom is Denise Gordy, Anna’s niece. He turned the co-executor of his father’s property on the age of 18 in 1984.
