Metallica announce particular reissue of ‘The Black Album’ and star-studded covers album

Metallica have introduced a particular pair of releases to have a good time the upcoming thirtieth anniversary of their album ‘Metallica’, AKA ‘The Black Album’.

The long-running band’s self-titled fifth studio album was launched in August 1991 and featured such songs as ‘Enter Sandman’, ‘The Unforgiven’ and ‘Nothing Else Issues’.

‘The Black Album’ is about to be remastered for the brand new reissue, which can be launched on September 10 on the band’s personal Blackened Recordings.

Among the many codecs that may home the reissue is a 180 gram double vinyl LP, normal CD and 3xCD expanded version, digital and a restricted version deluxe field set. Pre-order is available now.

One other launch, ‘The Metallica Blacklist’, will see over 50 artists every contributing a singular interpretation of their favorite ‘Black Album’ track, with income from the tribute file being break up between charities of the artist’s alternative and Metallica’s All Inside My Arms Basis.

The 53-track album will even be launched on September 10, with bodily codecs to comply with on October 1 – pre-order is offered here.
