Nitepunk makes Sable Valley debut with ‘Slices’ – Dancing Astronaut

Nitepunk is undeniably one of bass music’s hottest names in 2023. And he’s not making his debut on one of trap’s preeminent labels Sable Valley with the release of his new single “Slices.” Marking his first original release since HUMAN—Nitepuk’s debut album from earlier in the year—the gritty single follows his remix of IMANU‘s “It’s Our Destiny” via Deadbeats.
Ahead of it’s official release, “Slices” had already been making the rounds as a highly anticipated ID in the live circuit with rinses from the likes of Moore Kismet, JAWNS, HEKLER, and more. And his Sable Valley entry dates all the way back to at least 2021 when Nitepunk played it out at Project:Z at the NOS Event Center in San Bernardino.
Nitepunk had already made waves in 2023 with the release of his debut album HUMAN on Insomniac‘s HARD Records in March. The 15-track album earned well-deserved praise around the dance space and also recognition from a who’s who of dance music royalty including SLANDER, NGHTMRE, ILLENIUM, Zeds Dead, Habstrakt and more.
