Ophelia Records highlights the best of dance music’s up and comers with their sixth ‘Advent’ release

Dancing Astronaut‘s 2021 Label of the Year has made its way back to the release ring, opening 2023 with the sixth edition of its bi-annual Advent series. Holding true to the tradition of showcasing the best and brightest rising artists within bass music and beyond, Ophelia Presents: Advent Volume 6 delivers eight tracks while spotlighting nine artists that are worth keeping an eye on.
Spanning several genres, Hoang and Dancing Astronaut Supernova RUNN start Ophelia’s first showing of 2023 on a high note with “People Change,” a melodic, emotional track utilizing the full force of the latter’s unfeigned vocals. Followed by Roy Knox’s “Back 2 You” which pushes the boundaries of both melodic dubstep and hard dance, Ophelia Presents: Advent Volume 6 continues with Nick Ledesma’s melodic dubstep infusion on “Confession,” KLAXX’s uptempo, heavy-hitting original “Don’t Stop,” ZOA’s midtempo approach on “We’re Dreaming,” Blank Age’s uplifting take on melodic bass through “Eternity,” REMNANT.exe’s futuristic, wave-directed original “Aberration,” and last but not least, a downtempo bass cut from Alyun with “Callie (Cry About It).”
