He’s now primed for his debut album, which explores the struggles of finding one’s purpose as they age, among other themes.
“I want my fans to expect the unexpected,” Rome In Silver said in a statement. “There is something for everyone. I touch on love, the fear of getting older, insecurities and feeling like I don’t fit in.”

She was reportedly rushed to a hospital, where she is now being treated in the ICU for blood clots in her lungs and legs. Per TMZ‘s report, doctors are working to see if there are blood clots in or surrounding other vital organs, including her heart. Sources also told TMZ that the condition is “really serious”, and that the singer has been drifting in and out of consciousness.
Tori Kelly’s management have yet to comment on the situation.
Kelly is scheduled to release a new EP ‘tori’ on July 28. It is currently unclear if the ongoing medical situation will result in the postponement of the EP’s release. The EP will feature the previously released single ‘missin u’, and an unreleased track featuring Ayra Starr.
Tori Kelly won two Grammy awards in 2019 for Best Gospel Album and Best Gospel Performance/Song.

Anyma and Grimes took the People of Tomorrow to the opera.
The two joined forces over the weekend at Tomorrowland, where a display of technocratic theatrics led to one of the weekend’s biggest moments.
The advent of artificial intelligence—and its invasion of the music industry—has left more questions than answers about how humans and machines can live in harmony on a macro level. But Grimes, who has operated as one of AI’s most fervent advocates, is already coexisting.
The famed art-pop artist joined Anyma onstage at Tomorrowland to perform “Welcome to the Opera,” their recent Afterlife collaboration, a spellbinding song with a sentient twist. Afterlife’s metaphysical aesthetic came to life on the festival’s Freedom Stage, where Grimes was affixed to a harness before levitating in tandem with the brand’s signature visuals.
“My life is in the hands of the machine now,” she tweeted after the performance.
Anyma is one half of Tale of Us, the Italian dance music duo behind Afterlife. The beloved record label and event organizer has become the touchstone for melodic techno music thanks to its haunting, cerebral approach to the genre, effectively reinventing it for today’s generation.
Anyma is now poised to release his long-awaited debut album after Afterlife signed a landmark record deal with Interscope, who will distribute the imprint’s future recordings and administer its existing catalog. “Welcome to the Opera” is the lead single off the album, GENESYS, which Anyma revealed will release on August 11th.
Tomorrowland continues this weekend from July 28-30. You can find out how to livestream the festival here.

Blur have shared two new songs that are featured in the deluxe version of their latest LP ‘The Ballad Of Darren’. Listen to them below.
The two new tracks, ‘The Rabbi’ and ‘The Swan’, both have that signature Blur sound with the latter being a mellow ballad and ‘The Rabbi’ being a bright, upbeat song. Both tracks follow the LP’s lead single ‘The Narcissist’.
‘The Ballad Of Darren’ arrived on Friday, July 21. In a four-star review of the album, NME shared: “There’s always a sense of unfinished business with Blur; they’ve never officially split, but each time they re-emerge it’s as if we’re rekindling a long-estranged affair. Two albums in 20 years since 2003’s ‘Think Tank’ – ‘The Ballad of Darren’ and 2015’s ‘The Magic Whip’ – would suggest they feel the same.”
It continued: “On ‘The Ballad…’ the band are muted and contemplative; there are moments of sheer heartbreak in these songs. Beyond the doom, there’s something resolute and life-affirming in the way this record plays out; you sense the whole momentum of the band moving as a unit, not just pieced together in separate takes like in ‘The Magic Whip’.”
Additionally, as well as performing two back-to-back nights at Wembley Stadium, the band also played an intimate BBC Radio Theatre show, which saw them debut new song ‘Barbaric’ and air classics for their 300-strong crowd.
Up next, the indie veterans will be performing ‘The Ballad Of Darren’ in full at a special livestreamed gig at London’s Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith tomorrow (July 25), before a run of European festival dates and appearances in Asia and South America. Visit here for tickets and more information.
The band’s bassist Alex James claimed that he found returning to Blur a lot more “relaxing” than parenting.
“Playing the bass in a rock band is the easiest thing, compared to parenting,” he shared. “It actually is relaxing going back into that Blur bubble.”
Unveiling the heart of the internet’s current favorite spectacle, the Vegas Sphere’s inner sanctum may rewrite the rulebook of entertainment in Sin City.
Odds are you’ve caught wind of the viral $2.3 billion Sphere, the exterior of which illuminated for the first time on July 4th, 2023. At a towering 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide, it’s both the world’s biggest spherical structure and largest LED screen, according to a press release issued by its proprietors, Sphere Entertainment.
The complex’s exterior consists of approximately 1.2 million hockey puck-shaped LEDs, each of which contains 48 individual diodes capable of emitting 256 million different colors. Now, footage shared by Las Vegas Locally has offered a glimpse of the Sphere’s interior, which reportedly contains the world’s highest-resolution wraparound LED screen.
With a capacity of roughly 18,000 people, the Sphere will host concerts, film viewings and sporting events. It’s easy to drool at the thought of a rave beneath its gargantuan 16K LED screen, which has the capability to envelop crowds with immersive visual projections.
Rezz’s mouth is already watering. “Ya I need to play a show in there immediately,” tweeted the Canadian electronic music superstar.
“The screen goes from ground (level) to 250 feet high, all the way around,” said John Claffey, the Sphere’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. “It keeps you fully immersed when you’re sitting in that bowl. I used to love IMAX in New York City, but this will blow that away.”
There will be over 160,000 speakers spread around the Sphere’s interior audience bowl, according to the venue’s producers, who said the venue will also feature haptic seats that vibrate in tandem with the giant screen’s visuals.

It seems the Sphere’s sound will meet the moment as well. A demonstration of its cutting-edge audio system, Sphere Immersive Sound, took place on Friday, July 21st from inside the venue, according to Pollstar.
“Sound is key and we paid a great deal of attention to it,” said James Dolan, Executive Chairman and CEO, MSG Entertainment. “What we have created here is as close as you can get in a full venue of replicating the human sense of sound. And we’re programming to it, and everything [you’ll hear] now is because of the technology we’re using, everything that you hear is intentional. Not causal. Meaning that once you hear it, you’ll know it yourselves.”
The Sphere is scheduled to officially open on September 29th with the first concert of a series featuring legendary rock band U2. You can find out more and purchase tickets to “U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere” here.
Harry Styles delivered a heartfelt speech on the final night of his extensive ‘Love On Tour’ shows. Check out footage of the moment below.
The moment occurred at the pop stars show at the RCF Arena Campovolo, in Italy on Saturday (July 22) – the final stop on his mammoth world tour, which kicked off in September 2021.
As he wrapped up the final performance of the trek, he began to get emotional as he addressed the crowd, and thanked them for the continuous support they have given him across his career.
“I don’t get to do this if you guys don’t come,” he began, as seen in social media footage shared online. “I know that more than anyone else. You guys being here tonight, I know you wanted to make it special for me. You make it special for me every single night.”

He continued, showing his gratitude to the audience for building a safe space at his concerts, and urging them to continue spreading that attitude in their everyday lives, particularly as he knows what a difference it can make.
“I know [about] feeling so incredibly small in this world it can be really, really difficult to feel like anything you could do can make a difference,” he said. “But I promise you, I see it all the time in the little things that you do and the way that you treat each other. How it has affected all the people around me, how it has affected people out there, it is so much bigger. It does not end when this tour ends. I want you to continue it. Put love out into the world. It needs it a bit right now.”
He concluded his speech by saying the tour has made him happier than ever before, stating: “I will be loving you so, so much. If you’ve been supporting me for one year, five years, 13 years, whatever it is, not only have you changed my life over and over again, but you’ve made me the happiest. I’m so thrilled and happy to be here tonight.” Check out footage of the moment below.

To draw his final show to an end, Styles wrapped up the Italy show with an untitled, 10-minute-long instrumental piano track. The name and origin of the song are still unknown, and the show marked its live debut.
Another highlight of Styles’ recent tour came during his gig in Portugal, when he invited support act Wet Leg on stage with him for a rendition of their single ‘Wet Dream’.
“It has been the most wonderful, wonderful tour, getting to watch them play every night,” he said to the audience, introducing the band to the stage with him. “They’re one of my favourite bands. Can you please welcome to the stage Hester and Rhian from Wet Leg!”
In other Harry Styles news, Madame Tussauds recently unveiled seven new waxworks of the former One Direction member across their international locations.
The seven new statues are located around the world with one placed in Madame Tussauds London, New York, Hollywood, Amsterdam, Berlin, Singapore and Sydney. Each one depicts Styles in some of his most memorable outfits.
Drake halted one of his gigs to call out a fan after a vape was thrown at him mid-performance.
The incident took place on Thursday night (July 20), during the rapper’s concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Midway through his set, Drake began to address a concert-goer who decided to hurl a vape at him, telling them they have “some real life evaluating to do”.
“Did you throw a vape up here? Come on,” Drake said to the crowd at the show, looking at the item by his feet. “Hey … Who threw this? Who threw the vape?”
He continued: “There’s no way you’re taking life seriously if you think I’m gonna pick this vape up and vape with you at the fucking Barclays Center.
“You got some real life evaluating to do, throwing this fucking lemon mint vape up here, thinking I’m about to vape with you at the Barclays.”
Footage of the moment was shared by the venue on its social media channels, along with the caption: “Reminder: You cannot vape at Barclays Center.”
This isn’t the first time that the artist – whose real name is Aubrey Drake Graham – has been on the receiving end of something thrown by a member of the crowd during his ongoing tour.
Earlier this month, he was hit by an object while on stage in Chicago, during the opening night of his ‘All a Blur Tour’ with 21 Savage. The object, which hit him in the arm during the performance, turned out to be a mobile phone although he didn’t comment on the incident during the show.
Unfortunately, this trend of audience members hurling objects at performers on stage has gathered momentum in recent months. One of the most prolific and dangerous cases occurred last month, when pop star Bebe Rexha was seen falling to her knees after a mobile phone struck her in the face.
The incident left her needing stitches above her eye, and it was later reported that the concertgoer who threw the device did so because he thought “it would be funny”.
Additionally, P!nk was left confused after a fan tossed their dead mother’s ashes onto her stage in London, Harry Styles was hit in the eye by a mysterious object thrown at him in Vienna, and Ava Max was slapped in the face by someone who ran onto the stage during a gig in Los Angeles.
Other artists affected included Lil Nas X, Taylor Swift and Lil Uzi Vert.

Billie Eilish also spoke out against the trend while at the premiere of the Barbie movie earlier this month, and said that while it is “infuriating”, it is by no means a new occurrence.
“I’ve been getting hit on stage with things for like, literally, six years,” she said. “I have mixed feelings about it, because when you’re up there it blows. But you know it’s out of love and they’re just trying to give you something.”
Adele also spoke out against the issue during a live show, jokingly warning her audience that she would “kill” them if they tried to throw items at her. While Latto warned a fan to stop throwing things at her on stage at a recent show, and threatened to “beat their ass”.
Highlighting the worrying trend, NME explored why fans may want to hurl objects at their favourite performers, but, additionally, how it is negatively impacting live shows.
“The desire for a memorable one-off connection with the pop gods is understandable, particularly in an age when the wealthiest among us can virtually buy a meet-and-spoon with them before the show,” it read. “But it shouldn’t need to be said that risking their personal well-being, the gig itself and a bouncer’s boot in the face for your troubles isn’t worth any amount of TikTok notoriety.”
“We’ve entered an era where interactions between fan and artist need to revert to respectful boundaries,” it added. “It’s a performance, not a baby shower or disorderly selfie queue, so let the stars get on with dazzling you without the underlying frisson of warzone.”
South Korean singer Hwasa, a member of K-pop girl group MAMAMOO, has shared a stunning rendition of Dionne Warwick’s ‘Walk On By’.
On July 23, the K-pop idol rang in her 28th birthday with the release of her cover of Dionne Warwick’s 1964 hit single. The new clip features Hwasa in an elegant black and white outfit as she sings, accompanied by a pianist and string quartet.
“Make believe / That you don’t see the tears / Just let me grieve / In private ’cause each time I see you / I break down and cry,” Hwasa sings on her cover of ‘Walk On By’.
The new cover is Hwasa’s first music release signing with the Psy-founced K-pop agency P NATION earlier this month. The MAMAMOO vocalist was first unveiled as a new artist under the label at one of Psy’s 2023 Summer Swag concerts.
The move comes shortly after Hwasa left her longtime agency RBW Entertainment, where her MAMAMOO bandmates Solar and Moonbyul remain. The girl group had first debuted under the company in 2014 with their EP ‘Hello’.
Fellow bandmate Wheein had left the agency back in 2021, though she also agreed to an “extended agreement” where she would continue to be a part of MAMAMOO until at least December 2023.
It is unclear if Hwasa has made a similar agreement, though RBW noted at the time of her departure that it would “continue to provide our full support so that MAMAMOO-like activities can continue individually and together”.
In other MAMAMOO news, the group’s sub-unit MAMAMOO+ formed by Solar and Moonbyul are set to make a comeback in early August with their first mini-album ‘Two Rabbits’. The duo have since dropped a visual for ‘Save Me’, an upcoming song from the record.
