Rap icon Fatman Scoop has died after collapsing on stage whereas performing in Connecticut final evening (August 30).

His tour supervisor DJ Pure Chilly introduced his passing, whose actual is Isaac Freeman, on social media. He was 52.

It comes after the rapper suffered a “medical emergency” throughout a gig in City Middle Park in Hamden in response to Mayor Lauren Garrett.

She wrote on Fb: “Tonight, whereas acting at Hamden City Middle Park, Isaac Freeman, aka Fatman Scoop, had a medical emergency on stage. He’s being transported by ambulance to the hospital. We are going to present updates when they’re obtainable. Please hold him in your ideas and prayers.”

It was later confirmed by Pure Chilly that he had handed away.

Fatman Scoop collaborated with quite a few artists through the years together with Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston and Missy Elliott.
