REAPER and Josh Rubin Reunite for Haunting Drum & Bass Track, "MONSTER"
Reuniting for another must-listen collab, REAPER and Josh Rubin have dropped “MONSTER” via Bassrush.
The two are running it back after landing on Bassrush back in 2021 with the frenetic “RUNAWAY.” With its haunting lyricism and visceral production, “MONSTER” is a beautiful expansion of their collaborative saga.
Taking the spotlight throughout the intro, Rubin’s spacey voice serenades us through subdued percussion before REAPER’s infallible, winding bass sweeps them away. The second drop transforms into a stunning half-time moment, bringing the track home with masterful variance.
Since debuting his project in 2019, REAPER has quickly become one of the hottest North American drum & bass artists. He released his debut album, DISRUPTOR, last year to much acclaim, as well as a gigantic remix pack.
