Slipknot’s Corey Taylor shares throwback photograph of Joey Jordison and Paul Grey

Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor has paid a contemporary tribute to his late bandmates Joey Jordison and Paul Grey in a throwback photograph he shared on-line.

Jordison died in his sleep on the age of 46 final week, together with his explanation for loss of life but to be revealed.

It got here 11 years after the passing of bandmate and Slipknot founder Paul Grey, who died of a morphine and fentanyl overdose on the age of 38.

Yesterday (August 2), Taylor took to Instagram to share a grainy photograph of himself, Jordison and Grey, with all three pulling foolish faces whereas enjoyable in a venue.

This newest tribute from Taylor comes after Slipknot final week shared a transferring eight and a half minute tribute video to Jordison.

“Our hearts exit to Joey’s household and family members presently of large loss. Joey Jordison’s artwork, expertise, and spirit couldn’t be contained or be held again,” the band wrote in an accompanying caption.

“Joey’s impression on Slipknot, on our lives, and on the music that he cherished, is incalculable. With out him there could be no us. We mourn his loss with your complete Slipknot household.

“We love you, Joey.”

Corey Taylor, Jim Root and Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan all beforehand posted a single black tile on their social media pages in tribute to their former bandmate.
