For a third consecutive time since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tomorrowland will be supplementing the global shortage of festivals with a virtual replacement, according to a report from Billboard.
While the Belgian festival still has the green light for their newly rescheduled dates of August 27 – 29 (weekend 1) and September 3 – 5 (weekend 2), Tomorrowland will also be bringing back Dancing Astronaut‘s number-one digital event of 2020, with a 2021 iteration of Tomorrowland Around the World during a currently unspecified weekend this July. The Tomorrowland Around the World follow-up is set to succeed both last year’s debut summer iteration that drew in more than a million virtual attendees as well as a minimized New Year’s Eve version that Tomorrowland hosted through their new online entertainment platform, NAOZ.
