From August 6 – 8, BBC Radio 1 will broadcast 70 hours of the world’s premier digital music for a Dance Weekend takeover to happen in lieu of the station’s annual Large Weekend, broadcast stay from Ibiza. The Dance Weekend takeover, spanning Radio 1, Radio 1 Dance, and Radio 1 Chill out, will function a variety of mixes.
August 5, outlined by an “Round The World” theme, will welcome an meeting of world-class acts akin to Swedish Home Mafia, MK, Ewan McVicar, Shermanology, Krystal Klear, Hannah Desires, Classic Tradition, THEMBA, Nina Kraviz, and Andrea Oliva, in addition to an unique Important Combine premiere from Paul Woolford and Yousef.
