And he is now breaking away in additional methods than one. Whethan’s newest single, “Fall Out Lady” (with Zai1k), is his first unbiased launch in six years following a two-album stint with Atlantic Data. 

“Fall Out Lady” is an uplifting callback to the sounds of this dance music prodigy’s previous, from the playful sonics and youthful enthusiasm of his debut album, Fantasy, to the moodier, too-cool-for-school fringe of its hip hop follow-up, MIDNIGHT. Anthemic lyrics rasp above pumping home synths and a propulsive bass line whereas Zai1k’s heady vocals ship us alongside at a breakneck tempo.
