Aspiring producers, Zedd is signaling you.
On November 11, Zedd took to Twitter with an appeal to rising acts: enter his newly announced “Inside Out” remix contest. In recent years, Zedd originals have characteristically been accompanied by remix packs, as “365,” “Good Thing,” and “Funny” have each illustrated. This pattern will continue with “Inside Out,” but unlike past remix album rollouts, up-and-coming talents will have their chance to secure a bid on the forthcoming collection of reworks.
To enter the “Inside Out” remix competition, producers must submit their spins on the Griff-assisted original by 3:00 p.m. EST / 12:00 p.m. PST on November 20. Three taste-making talents’ takes will subsequently be selected for inclusion on the official remix pack, to be released via Interscope Records. More details are available below.
