Major Lazer, Eazi, Nicki Minaj, and K4MO share absurd visual for ‘Oh My Gawd’

Nigerian singer Mr. Eazi and Major Lazer along with Nicki Minaj and vocalist K4MO release the official music video for their blistering dancehall streamer, “Oh My Gawd.” Certainly a collaboration for the books, the music video simply blasts the absurdity out out of the water with a hilarious take on bringing a certain type of girl home to meet your parents… or your empty apartment. The single was cropped from Mr. Eazi’s Something Else EP to be dropped later this month.
In a press release, Mr. Eazi dished,
“This record was really fun to make. And it’s crazy how it went from hearing a K4MO intro in the studio with Fred Again, to me jumping on it and then Diplo hopping in! And Walshy hitting me up to say it’s a banger—next thing Nicki is on it! Been a journey really, like two years in the making, and I can’t wait to perform it at my next festival!”
“Oh My Gawd” is hardly Eazi’s first work of the 2020 calendar year. The producer has released singles throughout the year, teaming up with African talent such as DaVido and artists from his emPawa Africa program on his One Day You Will Understand project. Meanwhile, Major Lazer are on the heels of their upcoming album, Music is the Weapon, which is set to follow their 2015 classic, Peace Is the Mission.
