Wolfgang Gartner Continues His Resurgence with “Electric Soul”

Following up on the success of his “Tucson” EP, legendary producer Wolfgang Gartner has shared another treat with us. “Electric Soul” is classic Wolfgang complextro. A groovy bassline, and out of this world funky beat, and vocoder vocals make this another Wolfgang song that’ll I’ll have on repeat. I couldn’t be more happy that he is clean again and enjoying the music he is making. Hopefully this means a constant stream of music from him.

As the pandemic continues and the return of live events remains distant, a Save Our Stages initiative has kicked off in an effort to save independent music venues. Electronic music artists featured on the lineup include Major Lazer and Dillon Francis while an array of pop music artists including G-Eazy, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, and Macklemore make up the pop music contingent. Portugal. the Man, Foo Fighters, and Dave Matthews are among the other featured artists included on the lineup.

THELEM Drops Bone-Chilling 4-Track ‘ANALOGIC’ EP [LISTEN]

Whilst digging through SoundCloud for next up music and artists, THELEM captured our attention with his “ANALOGIC (CLIP)” and we were down the rabbit hole once again without hesitation.

THELEM blew us away with “Clickbait” and “Tuck It” — and fast-forward to now and the ANALOGIC EP is making rounds with his inventive take on bass music. The new EP is stacked with four insane productions, including one collaboration with ONHELL, as each drags us deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole. He has uncovered some of the most menacing sounds imaginable and run with them, showcasing a borderline freeform world that translates through bass heavy rhyme and reason.

The producer shares the story behind the title track via SoundCloud comment: “Funny story about the stabs, I was messing around recording sounds from synth, ended up with that horror kind of tone out of pure accident lol. Put them in sampler and played with pitch and that’s how tune was born lol :D”

With so-called Spooky Season upon us, there’s no better soundtrack than this — starting off with the Psycho-esque stab he first stumbled upon heard in “ANALOGIC.”

A personification of hope, SAM FELDT and THE HIM unite for ‘USE YOUR LOVE’

Three of the greatest friends and talents on the dance music scene, Sam Feldt and The Him, unite for the third time on melodically genius ‘Use Your Love’. Following in the footsteps of their stellar records ‘Midnight Hearts’ and ‘Drive You Home’, listeners have highly anticipated the arrival of their next collaborative track. Seamlessly blending the signature styles of the Dutch artists, ‘Use Your Love’ is an exquisite cross-over tune that can effortlessly flit between the radio and the dance floor. Releasing on Sam Feldt’s imprint Heartfeldt, ‘Use Your Love’ captures the essential feel-good vibe of the records on the label’s roster. Out now on Heartfeldt.

Perfectly poignant, Sam Feldt and The Him’s ‘Use Your Love’ captures the beauty and power of vulnerability in love.  An impeccable balance between up-beat, light-hearted melodies with an emotive twist, the record highlights the bravery of following your heart. Moving acoustic guitar chords are matched with epic builds and catchy rhythms, emoting the very best of Dance-Pop. Featuring a soulful, powerhouse vocal performance from Goldford, ‘Use Your Love’ is heart-warmingly, striking. This thoughtful, euphoric record is a masterpiece waiting to be heard.

“After releasing two songs with The Him already (Midnight Hearts & Drive You Home), we decided it was time to present the world with our follow-up. It took a while for us to find the perfect song to collaborate on, but with Goldford’s amazing vocal ‘Use Your Love’ we struck gold. The song is all about being lost and needing a special someone to show you the way, a feeling that we all share sometimes. The Him and I had lots of fun working on the track and we hope this resonates with our listeners as well!” —Explains Sam Feldt

“It’s been a while since we made music with Sam, we’ve all been so busy! But we decided to work on something together again and it was really fun. We wanted to make a track that really fits our sets because we all can’t wait to be back on the road again and are dreaming of festivals and club shows. Hopefully, this gives the fans of electronic music something to safely party at home with.” — Explains The Him

Subtronics releases seven-track ‘String Theory’ EP featuring Kompany, Wooli

Rising bass star Subtronics has unleashed a nefarious extended play of complex riddims featuring the versatile prowess of sound-design maestros Kompany and Wooli.

String Theory is a kaleidoscope of convoluted rhythms, brute basslines, and out-of-this world bass frequencies, contriving this fierce 7-track album a must-listen for electronic fans. String Theory wields preeminence with its bold-mannered attitude and medley of production styles and sound designs, proving a formidable follow-up to Subtronics’ Scream Saver EP, released in April.

“…is a direct reflection of the wide range of emotions I have been experiencing through the pandemic. I wanted to encapsulate them in my music, which resulted in a unique vibe that is my most honest form.”
