Artmann has delivered a four-track EP titled Keep The Funk Alive via Barcelona-based record label, Entretenimiento Musical SL. As one of Dancing Astronaut’s Artists to Watch in 2021, the Amsterdam native has already gone on to produce a staggering five EPs in 2020 alone and forges forward with that pace as he shares his latest body of work, Keep The Funk Alive.

Artmann’s newest EP highlights the producer’s self-branded funky house style across the board, with the inclusion of a James Dexter remix of “Only Us.” The intimate collection feature the core ingredients of any minimal house tune, with different variations of nifty drum grooves, vintage synthesizers, ambient soundscapes, and elegant melodies materializing and setting the stage for Artmann’s uncanny approach to the genre. On his artistic execution, he describes,

“My sound is really funky, really groovy, but still pretty tight! I love melodic, euphoric breakdowns with wavy vocals to come along with, which eventually leads to a nice, deep drop. I’m in love with bouncy basslines, and I like using multiple synth sounds combined to make one melody.”
